I'm Ananya Singh — Network Security Engineer L1-2 at Sophos Technologies, based in Vadodara, Gujarat.

With a B.Tech in Computer Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) from Ganpat University, I combine deep network security expertise with modern AI techniques. My daily work centers around enterprise firewall administration (Sophos XGS), SIEM log ingestion & incident correlation in Splunk, VPN configurations, and Zero Trust architectures.

Core Technologies: Firewalls (Sophos XGS), Wireless Security, Email Security, DNS Protection, ZTNA, SIEM (Splunk).

  • Firewall & Security: Hands-on configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting of Sophos XGS & UTM Firewalls. Integrated Active Directory, RADIUS, DNS, and Sophos Central.
  • Security Features: Configured IPS, IDS, ATP (Advanced Threat Protection), SSL/TLS Inspection, DoS & Spoof Protection rules for enterprise clients.
  • VPN Technologies: Configured and resolved connectivity/tunnel stability issues for IPsec (Site-to-Site & Remote Access) and SSL VPNs.
  • SIEM & Log Management: Log ingestion, correlation rule creation, alert triaging, and custom SPL dashboard development in Splunk. Performed TCPDUMP diagnostics for threat detection.
